Medstar utilizes fully automated Stryker and Ferno stretchers to provide a safe and comfortable transition from your bed to the stretcher. These stretchers offer the ability to gently lift and lower patients without having to raise or lower one side of the stretcher at a time making your transport as comfortable as possible without compromising safety.

We also employ Stryker Power Pro stretchers that allow us to remove the gurney to work around steps and small inclines giving you peace of mind when navigating around unexpected obstacles.

Our bariatric stretchers have lift capabilities of 700 lbs and come with factory extensions to properly secure the patient and provide for a comfortable transportation experience. Four inches wider than a traditional stretcher make our bariatric transports much more comfortable and safe to execute heavy lifts.
